Is GoTrueLaw.com a legit, licensed online law firm…can a law firm really be 100% online?

Great questions! You can verify our principal attorney is licensed in Texas by clicking here. All attorneys at GoTrueLaw.com hold a current license to practice law with their state bar.

And yes, a law firm can be 100% online as long as the applicable state bar allows licensed attorneys to practice online (and the Texas state bar does).

We verify and follow applicable state law for drafting, meeting, validly signing and paying for your legal documents online, so you can rest assured your legal documents are done right!

How does it work?

We’ve made it easy for you, here’s a quick breakdown:

(1) Book an Appointment for an Estate Planning Package or Business/Entity package to schedule an initial 15-minute online meeting with a GoTrueLaw.com attorney

(2) Fill-out the forms we’ll send you after booking your Appointment

(3) Receive & review your draft documents to discuss during the initial 15-minute online attorney meeting, then

(4) Schedule your document signing (Single & Married EP Packages include a second 15-minute attorney led document signing).

If you feel you need more time, you can always book another Online Lawyer Consultation; add a Subscription to complement your GoTrueLaw.com Estate Planning Package or Business/Entity Package for continuing peace of mind!

How much are your fees and when do I pay?

Our fees are listed with each Appointment and Subscription type, including the related check-the-box “Add-On” fees, as applicable.

For Appointments, you enter your credit card information but will not be charged until your Appointment or until you receive your draft documents.

For Subscriptions, you will be charged after you enter your credit card information and submit payment.

How do I sign up?

Simply book an Appointment with us at a convenient time for you, and you’ll receive a confirmation email along with further information and instructions to officially embark!
